We reverse the order – instead of focusing on matching the products available on the market to your idea, you can create your own one, which will constitute its development and implementation. WE OPEN A NEW, CREATIVE SPACE FOR BRICK ARCHITECTURE
The BRICK-DESIGN® program is a project initiated by the technical department of the German headquarters of the Röben company. This is also where the design and implementation process takes place, resulting in a clinker pursuing an individual, creative vision of the designer and allowing for the creation of non-standard façade solutions.
The production of a unique model of clinker bricks is possible if you order at least 500,000 pieces. The campaign promoting BRICK-DESIGN® received the prestigious Red Dot award.
ROUGH SEA?
The power of the sea closed in the surface of the clinker brick? It is absolutely possible. The technical team will develop the structure of the face which will recreate the depth, dynamics, and unpredictability of the sea, giving the brick also the selected color and size. Our product will be created specifically for the needs of the given design, so that the architectural effect is unique, but also desired from the beginning to the end.
THE BIG BLUE?
Perhaps you are working on a design to which a brick façade with a face resembling a fish scale would match perfectly? With a naturally irregular surface, unique and yet creating a harmonious pattern? Although it seems to be a jump at the deep end, the Röben technical department knows how to develop and prepare even the most surprising ideas for production.
PASTEL JOY OF A SUNNY MORNING?
Imagine that a beautiful, sunny morning brings inspiration for developing a design of a building whose façade reflects the mood of the moment. Is it possible to produce clinker in pastel orange? Will its structure reflect the play of light characteristic of scattered rays? Your idea, joint conceptual work of the architect and the technical team as well as our technological capabilities is a combination that guarantees a transformation of the sunny, orange impression into a real product.
ZEBRA ON THE WALL?
Nature is an invaluable source of inspiration and patterns. Prints with animal motifs like leopard spots and zebra stripes have embedded in fashion and interior design for good. Why not use them in the architecture of solids? Our technical team will precisely develop a pattern, colour, and structure of the face, creating the exact brick that you need for your design.
ELEMENT OF POLISH LANDSCAPE?
Sometimes, the design requires the use of unique, dedicated solutions, for example due to its function or the desire to create a kind of a bridge between the purpose of the building and its look. Maybe you need a material that will immediately bring associations with a typical Polish landscape? Clinker façade reflecting the motif of a birch bark? We will create a brick with appropriate texture and colours – a unique solution for your design.
There are designs whose charm is based on masterful, decorative detail. Why not combine, for instance, ornaments inspired by Baroque with the industrial character of the clinker brick? AUSTERE COLOURS OF A GLACIER?
The austere, rocky structure of the Margerie Glacier in Alaska, bringing together a whole range of cool colours, especially greys, can become an inspiring basis for the work on an architectural design. Are you thinking about the full range of achromatic clinker colours – from dark anthracites, through more and less saturated gravy, to white, which will enable to bring the vision into reality? The conceptual and implementation working process of the architect and the technical team of the Röben company is exclusively focused on obtaining a product that fully implements the design assumptions.
NATURALLY SEVERE FORM?
The severity and coldness of the northern regions of Europe is a common inspiration in design. The savage nature, still not overly processed by the man’s hand, is well reflected in architecture by the modest form and natural materials. Do you need a rough, durable material for the façade? Our design team will meet these requirements by developing a brick especially for your design, which will look like a rock and which will resist water, wind, and cold, just like stone.
CROCODILE SKIN?
Suppose you are working on a design for such brand as Prada. A glance at their famous handbags becomes a spark stirring the imagination to pursue an extravagant, effective idea for the façade. You need bricks with a face that reflects the texture and pattern of crocodile skin.
