Another Ceramics Rally behind us!

Just after May Day, between the fourth and seventh of May, the Ceramics rally organized by the Student Self-Government of the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics of the University of Science and Technology was held. It has become a tradition that our company is one of the main sponsors of the event.

The Ceramics Rally held every year is one of the largest student initiatives, which can be considered the tradition of the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics. The aim of the event is to share the passion for physical activity, making new friends and establishing professional relationships, but above all – good fun. Students, teachers, employees and authorities of the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, as well as representatives of the industry – almost 200 people in total – have the opportunity to exchange experiences, insights and ideas, and break the ice with future employees and employers.

This year's event was slightly different from last year's editions. It was held under the slogan "travel to place X" – the participants got to know the place of the final of the Ceramics Rally just before its start. However, this was not the only change that differentiated the Rally from previous editions. Traditionally, the participants were divided into three teams, but this time, one of them had to move along a route with a higher degree of difficulty. The places in the first two groups were distributed according to the order of applications, while those who wanted to try their hand at the more difficult route had a priority.

The program of the Ceramics Rally 2017 included daily bonfires and integration games in each group of travelers and a joint farewell bonfire that took place on the last evening of the 48th edition of the event. During integration of all participants, there was also a number of competitions, with the prizes including Röben gadgets or a t-shirt signed by Marcin Gortat. In addition, the guests of the Rally received souvenirs.
