Administrative building in Antwerp: special building elements
It means building elements the bricklaying of which entails huge costs and large amount of time. They are always prepared in cooperation with architects. The external appearance desired by the architects is the basis for the preparation of a perfect construction element for the technical department of the Röben company.
Special construction elements are used in all places of the building, beginning from the element covering the wall through the special sill wall to the suspended beam of the lintel. The examples show solutions in buildings where the bricklaying using traditional methods is impossible or when very careful and clean execution is required.

Between the vertical pillars of the wall with a depth of approx. 70 cm, prefabricated parapet elements are suspended. These elements are prepared in three parts with a connector, assembled at the construction site and welded.
