The 11th edition of the Marcin Gortat Camp came to an end!

The eleventh edition of the Marcin Gortat Camp has just finished. For the seventh time, a series of trainings for the youngest organized by the Marcin Gortat Foundation MG13 “Aim High” ended with the match of the Polish Army vs Marcin Gortat Team.

The final match took place on July 21 this year in Atlas Arena in Łódź.

This year's edition of the Camp took place in five cities: Łódź, Włocławek, Rumia, Warsaw and Lubin. In each of the cities, Marcin Gortat and his team of trainers conducted several hours of training for young basketball players aged 9-13 and 14-17. In Łódź, there was also a camp for children with physical disabilities. All participants received souvenir shirts, balls and other basketball gadgets. Röben – the patron of the event, also handed over a package of gifts for all children participating in the training.

The culmination of the 11th edition of the Camp was the match "Gortat Team vs Polish Army" played on July 21 this year. The final match was organized in Łódź for the second time. The team led by Marcin Gortat consisted of actors, well-known athletes and journalists. You could see, among others, Łukasz Fabiański, Agnieszka Radwańska, Konrad Bukowski, Mariusz Wlazły, Kuba Wesołowski, Kasia Dziurska, and Julia Wieniawa. The Polish Army won in the final confrontation. During the break of the match Gortat Team vs Polish Army in Łódź, the best participants of the training faced the Skills Challenge competition. The prize in the competition was a trip to the United States, where the best players are to see a NBA match live!
