New products designed for renovation
At this year's BUDMA trade fair in Poznań, we presented new products that enriched our offer of clinker bricks – renovation bricks. They were added to the Melbourne and Canberra bricks collection. The new renovation bricks have classic colors with an unobvious, "scratched" face. Designed for the renovation of brick buildings, they are characterized by an austere, historic look.
The Melbourne renovation bricks and the Canberra renovation bricks are the counterparts of the classic versions of these shades of clinker bricks, aged with scratches that give them a rustic look. Differences are noticeable in the face and head. Their surface is not as smooth as the classic ones, but as a result, each renovation brick is different and gives the impression of being affected by the passage of time. Melbourne is a brick with a traditional red color of fired clay, and Canberra has a red-brown-olive coloring and, as a result of shading, it changes the look depending on the angle of incidence of light. The new products were created primarily for the purpose of using them for the renovation of various historical buildings, but they are also intended for new projects. They are also addressed to architects and investors who want to give their investments a rustic look or harmoniously embed them into the surroundings of already existing buildings.
In the near future, our offer will also include clinker tiles and VNF bricks in the same shades. Currently, both renovation bricks are available in the NF format (240 x 115 x 71 mm), and their price is PLN 1.83 for a Melbourne brick and PLN 2.04 for a Canberra brick, so they cost the same as classic clinker bricks Melbourne and Canberra.
