Marcin Gortat with a visit in the Röben factory

July 7, 2018 was an exceptional day at the Röben factories in Środa Śląska. The Röben factory was visited by the ambassador of our brand Marcin Gortat, a Polish basketball NBA player, with whom we have been cooperating for 3 years.

During the visit, Marcin Gortat met with the employees who had the chance to talk to him about basketball, himself and his foundation MG13. What is more, it was an opportunity to take a picture with the idol and get his autograph. Each of Röben employees could shake his hand. Marcin expressed his appreciation for the support in his initiatives, because as a result, he was able to implement them and help to develop the passion for sport in the youngest. The next point of the visit was a tour of the factories. The basketball player got acquainted with the production process of ceramic tiles and clinker bricks, which undoubtedly fascinated him. He was very impressed with the high automation of the Röben factories, and he helped to make a few clinker tiles.

They are also an investment in the future and promotion of important values, such as diligence, ambition, responsibility and pursuing goals. These are certainly ideas consistent with the message of our brand, which is why we were willing to join the project. We are also perfectly aware that supporting children and young people is a great investment in the future. This is especially important now, when encouraging the youngest to practice sport is much more difficult than before. This is why we decided to support the Camps organized by Marcin Gortat again this year,” says Agnieszka Spychała, the head of marketing department at Röben.
